Cauliflower Wings (4/15/20)

Watch the video.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Head of Cauliflower
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 3/4 cup milk or milk alternative to make it vegan (but not one that is too sweet)
  • Wing sauce of choice
  • Coconut oil and honey if you desire a thicker sauce, especially if you use buffalo sauce

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 400⁰F.

Create the batter for your wings by combining the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and milk, making sure to stir well.

Cut the cauliflower in 1½ inch florets and add to batter, tossing well to coat each floret.

Add parchment to your baking dish and remove the florets from the batter, arranging them on the parchment paper.

Brush your wing sauce (which you can thicken with coconut oil or sweeten with honey beforehand) onto the florets. You could also toss the florets and sauce in a Tupperware container to coat them more evenly and then place them on the parchment paper.

Bake your “wings” for 20 minutes. Add whichever additional dipping sauce and enjoy!
