Student organizations
BLGTA
A group for Bisexual, Lesbian, Gay, Transgender and Allied individuals who come together for support, friendship, and campus events planning. The signature event is the annual Pride Prom for area high school LGBT students, many of whom cannot attend their own proms with the partner of their choosing.
CWI
The Coalition for Women’s Issues exists as an open group on the TU campus for both the discussion of women’s issues and the promotion of women’s health and well-being through community service, open dialogue and educational opportunities as an educating and open-minded coalition of aware, diverse and interested members of the TU community.
Kendall-Whitter Food Pantry
Weekly food deliveries to neighborhood residents provide an opportunity for service and connection to the TU surrounding community.
Progressive Christian Study Group
This study group explores Christianity through a progressive perspective, encouraging free inquiry and spiritual curiosity.
TU Peace & Justice Fellowship
A non-partisan group that sheds light on social justice issues through film series, conference visits, interfaith vigils, speakers, panel discussions, fair trade fairs, and an annual concert benefiting local charities. TPJF’s objective is to encourage a dialogue of ideas and provide an open forum in which to discuss local, national and international justice issues.
Witnessing Whiteness
A collaboration with the YWCA Tulsa, Witnessing Whiteness is a safe space for white anti-racist allies to critically examine racism and privilege
